Worth the Cost

Clear images, very good internal organization of sections (bold font key on the inside cover flap is very helpful), and semi-glossy pages that don't cast glare on the figures in normal classroom lighting.

Note: Pages are not as glossy as magazine pages, so they are vulnerable to water damage - but less so than the pages in cheap paperback books.

The flow of the text and pages is horrible. The font is huge and causes you to read and scroll through through 10 different pages as opposed to three in the hard copy. The pictures and their captions are on separate pages so its really hard to compare while reading caption because you have to keep flipping back and forth and the fact that you can't ZOOM into pictures makes this WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!!

I had a hard time grasping histology as a MS1 and bought this book to supplement my reading. Easy to read and helps quite a bit for the Histology shelf exam. A good supplement for in-class lecture notes.

About the Author
Deborah Hughes was a normal kid living a normal life when she moved into a haunted house at the age of seven. Suddenly she was sharing space with dead people and experiencing the bizarre world of the unknown and the uncanny. An over-active imagination did not, at first, serve her well for she feared what she did not understand. Learning to read opened her to the world of books and she read everything she could find about supernatural and paranormal phenomena. The more she read, the more she learned and the more she realized how little she knew. This has led to a lifelong search for knowledge, truth and enlightenment. Constantly inspired to write, from the age of eight she began telling the stories streaming like movies through her mind. Although determined to grow up and become a writer, her sense of adventure led to a career in the United States Air Force. serious suspense

This novel has a compelling and suspenseful plot, and the writer has a nice feel for location and region. This should develop into a strong series anchored by a protagonist with a provocative gift.

Suspenseful, Enthralling

I was hooked from page one. This book is very Gothic. Very mysterious. Very intriguing. Will Tess ever reconnect with her dead husband? What restless spirits haunt the Maine resort? I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good Gothic romance, a spooky read, well-developed suspense, sympathetic characters, and a satisfying resolution. Can't wait for Deborah Hughes' next book.

Must read!!

While reading this book, I was hooked. The story draws you in and makes you feel as if you are there. The characters and storyline are well written. This is a book for romance, paranormal and mystery lovers alike. Even if you have never read a paranormal or ghost story, I strongly recommend you give this book a try. You will not regret it!!
